On 14 to 15 December 2019, representatives from IFRD had attended and presented in the 26th International Congress of Islamic Union held in Ankara, Turkey. The conference has been divided into two days starting from 14 December where the issues were brought by the participant from Islamic movement all over the world regardless of representing the country or not. The issues covered were politics, economy, culture, and education.
Pleno session was also held in this day that specifically discussing the health program by the new government of Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM).
On the second day, presentations have been done by the representatives from NGOs of the Islamic movement from all over the world. This including NGOs from US, Canada, West Europe, East Europe, Africa, Russia, China, and Southeast Asia. IFRD has been represented by Hj Razali Moksim, the Assistant of General Secretary cum the Assistant of General Secretary 1 Amal Foundation of Malaysia had presented the work done on developing Marawi on behalf of BARMM.
